MUSICAL DIRECTOR / CONDUCTOR

When there's music involved in a live show, you need to have a leader who is ready for anything. With over 12 years of experience as a conductor and musical director, Brian Lucas has acquired the skill to not only conduct rehearsals and prepare musicians for a performance, but to also be able to think quickly and solve problems during the performance. Brian is a trained conductor and has extensive experience both in traditional baton conducting as well as behind the piano conducting, or what Brian calls "head conducting".

As a musical director, Brian works with directors and producers to create a vision for the show. His ability to see potential and possibilities in people makes him a valuable asset to the casting process. He is able to work with performers to achieve that potential, constantly molding performances to bring out the best in all.

As a band leader, Brian focuses on creating a synergy, where all musicians are joined in one goal. He has experience writing and rehearsing charts as well as leading during live perfomances. He specializes in background vocals, both in writing them and in coaching the singers to create the best blend of vocals. Brian is also well versed in vocal problems and can work with lead or background vocalists to overcome any vocal issues.
